Helensville Wedding

- Hope & Jon

Hope & Jon's Helensville wedding was nothing short of amazing. From when I first met them, it was clear that they just wanted a low key and relaxing wedding day where they could hang out with their family and and closest friends. And they definitely had just that. It was one of the most laid back weddings I have ever been to!

They utilised their neighbour's garden for the ceremony, and he also happened to be their celebrant, before their guests slowly moved across to their own garden for the reception.

They had put so much effort into the decor, with boho style garden umbrellas, outdoor cushions and pallet tables. Not to mention the awesome festoon lights and the lanterns hanging from the trees, both of which provided the most magical light when the sun had set.

Family and friends helped putting on the most amazing feed, with grazing table made by their good friend and Jon's cousin in charge of the spit roast that Jon's granddad made some fifty years ago!

After mingling with their guests for a bit, we headed to the nearby Muriwai beach for some bridal photos, before heading back to join in the party again.

Hope and Jon, thank you so much for trusting me with photographing your incredible day. You made me feel like one of your guests and I left your party grinning from ear to ear!

Much love

Anna xx
